Broad Functions
To improve communication between Japan Vendor / Singapore , including design review, project management, vendor management, Engineering Standard Creation, modification, support spare parts management and maintenance works
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Communication between Japan and Singapore to Arrange equipment meeting
- Prepare equipment meeting material for discussion and Arrange Japan vendor related schedules.
- Information sharing and communication between Japan & Singapore
- Co-ordinate with Japan vendors for new equipment / parts purchasing
- Negotiation for equipment / parts purchasing. Japan vendors auditing.
- Arrange design review meeting schedule and Prepare design review material for discussion.
- Chair design review meeting and Conduct design review Prepare design review document for approval.
- Communicate with overseas or local vendor for project management.
- Project related budget control. Project quality, safety, and schedule control.
- Work together with vendor, equipment owner and create equipment PM check list before new equipment handover to owner section.
- Vendor management to qualify new vendors.
- Conduct audit for existing vendors and Compare different vendors for quality and cost control.
- Translate into English, Create , Singapore Authority requirements, USP practice, etc.
- Share created USPES with related sections and Conduct training for related sections.
- Modification, Understand process and existing equipment performance.
- Propose modifications to resolve current problems, including process or equipment improvement.
- Discuss with vendor and related sections to carry out modification.
- Assessment of the modification result and Follow up cases closing of the modifications.
- Support spare parts management and maintenance works.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment and parts purchasing.
- Support to resolve equipment problems and Conduct training for trouble shooting skill improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Diploma in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Study or work experience in Japan
- Fluent Written and spoken in both English and Japanese
- Good understand for Japanese working culture.
- Good communication ,negotiation skills and Good presentation skills to share and brief co-workers and management with clarity.
- Intermediate MS Office. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to carry out hands-on work and leadership and supervision skills to guide and coach team members

- Salary Range: 3.5K to 5K + Allowance + Bonus + AWS: 3-4 months
- 5 days' work week 8am – 4.45pm
- Company transport at Jurong Island & Lakeside
