Job Responsibilities
- Analyzing data to determine sales forecasts for upcoming months or quarters, then communicating these forecasts to other members of the team
- Creating a strategic plan for improving operational efficiency and increasing productivity through changes in technology or sales processes
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies for products or services based on consumer demand, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- Coordinating with other departments within the organization to meet sales targets—for instance, working with accounting to ensure that financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Overseeing the operational aspects of a business such as inventory management or customer service, depending on the size of the company
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients to improve long-term profitability.
- Reviewing financial reports to identify trends in customer purchasing behavior in order to make recommendations for increasing sales.
- Ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed by staff members.
