Responsibilities:
- Report to Application Manager
- Working closely at customer sites (pre/post sales), you will help to convey accurate technical customer requirements
- Understand applications issues and define potential actions plans and solutions
- Supporting deployment of vacuum solutions, methods and practices
- Review and help to identify failure modes with local and global support teams through local pump disassembly analysis and 8D report expertise
- Prepare and present to customers quality presentations related to applications issues and /or product recommendations
- Participation in the deployment and follow-up of some correctives action plans process related if necessary
- Collaborating closely with customers’ engineers and providing on-site technical support
- Managing field evaluations, influencing product development to support the customer’s future process requirements, investigating complex equipment and process issues
- Provide on-site and in-house technical & application support as required.
Requirements:
- Degree, Diploma or ITC in engineering (chemistry / mechanicial / electrical preferred)
- Good knowledge of advanced semiconductor manufacturing technology and engineering-based problem-solving techniques
- Minimum 1 year of semiconductor process technology or research experience
- Minimum 1 year project management
- Vacuum systems or exhaust gas management systems experience a plus
- Familiar with Semiconductor, Solar and LED manufacturing equipment and processes
- Understanding of semiconductor process chemistry and electrical, mechanical systems
- Project management and systematic problem-solving
- Experience in chemical analysis techniques (FTIR, XPS, SEM, ICP-OES) will be an advantage
- Experienced and comfortable in customers’ interfacing.
