Job scope:
- Ensure the scrap, production yield and cycle time reduction targets are met
- Leads project for process and cycle time improvement
- Lead process related issues by pro-actively working with Quality
- Identify, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve shortcoming in processes
- Update the relevant Work Instructions and Operating procedures for process improvements
- Participate as a team player in maintaining a conducive, healthy & safe work environment
- Maintain and update the integrated Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) Management System and its accompanying documentation
- Support QA for failure analysis and identification of CAPA for customer returns and internal
- Efficiently manage your time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirement
- Min Degree in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or above
- Conversant with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards (e.g. ASME Y14.5)
- Practical experience using CAD and SolidWorks software, and SAP may be required
- Knowledge of Sheet Metal manufacturing processes and material knowledge
- Computer skills, including SAP, Agile, Office, etc
- CNC programming, fixture design will be a plus
- Able to work well independently and in team
- Able to commit after office hours when required
