Job Description: As a Cloud Network Infrastructure Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our cloud and network architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and resilient network and cloud architecture to support business requirements and ensure high availability
- Manage and optimize cloud networking components, including virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, load balancers, and gateways
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Implement security measures and compliance controls to protect cloud-based assets and data, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and procedures related to cloud network infrastructure
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud networking, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud network infrastructure in a complex environment
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Azure, with expertise in networking services and configurations
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) technologies and virtual networking concepts.
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, BGP, and DNS.
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for securing cloud-based environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are a plus
