Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Dr Subhroshekhar Ghosh on mathematics of data under a project on "Complex structures in Statistical Physics and the Math of Data and Stochastic models with latent symmetries".
The main responsibilities of the position include conducting research.
Qualifications
- Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in Mathematics / Statistics with an emphasis on random matrix theory, statistical learning theory, understanding and applications of negative dependence in these fields.
- Skills: Familiarity with the Kadison-Singer problem, the geometry of polynomials and their interaction with theoretical computer science and machine learning. Coding skills in a standard ML programming language.
