Roles and Responsibilities
Candidates are expected to: -
- Assist in planning critical path schedules and phasing to facilitate ongoing workshop activities
- Prepare and/or verify in-house and MOM test and calibration certificate
- Source for suppliers and assist in preparing quotation(s) (including Professional Engineer services)
- Assist in updating planned equipment maintenance program
- Communicate with clients and external professional engineers to understand requirements and constraints
- Prepare, record and file all relevant technical documents and certificates
- Key in technical requirements for certificates to be issued to clients
- Maintain accurate records of all in-house testing activities
- Perform any other technical-related assignments as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
A successful candidate will possess:-
- A Diploma in Engineering-related fields (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering, Maritime and Offshore Technology)
- Dynamic, self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
- Good technical knowledge in the marine industry
- Able to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- High degree of flexibility and initiative to take on new challenges as the role develops
Working Hours
- Mon to Fri: 8am to 5:15pm
- Alternate Sat: 8am to 12pm (work-from-home arrangement)
