Salary UP to $5000 + AWS
Location: Mcpherson
Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, reviewing, consolidating, and analyzing the sales performance of product categories to optimize sales and efficiently manage inventory.
- Conducting assortment analytics to inform the development of seasonal category strategies and assortment plans crafted by the Merchandising Manager.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales, stock levels, months to clear, and stock aging to provide appropriate recommendations at both the individual SKUs and brand levels.
- Attaining key performance metrics for product categories.
- Planning and monitoring purchases in alignment with regional guidelines.
- Ensuring that appropriate and effective merchandising standards are consistently maintained, encompassing replenishment, consolidation, and maintaining proper SKU counts in stores.
- Monitoring market competition and comparing purchases to date against target purchases to proactively suggest and initiate corrective actions.
- Preparing and analyzing weekly, monthly, and seasonal merchandising and buying reports to enhance sales, margin, and inventory management.
- Assisting in the management and leadership of the Merchandising team.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Retail/Fashion/Business or its equivalent
- Demonstrated experience of a minimum of 5 years in a comparable capacity and managerial role, preferably within retail operations and merchandising.
- Proficient in analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of retail mathematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred.
