Job Tittle: Program Manager, Navy Project management Asia
As Program Manager you are coordinating global projects across the Navy segment of the company. The projects may be executed from different global teams and different customers around the world. You are going to be a central player in forming a global Navy team. Further, you are following up on program goals while maintaining a high level of detail for each project you are overseeing within the program.
While having the role as program manager, you may at the same time also have the role as project manager for one or more projects. Other projects in your program may be led by another project manager.
You will have a close cooperation with other departments as sales, R&D, product management and service to align expectations to/from customer, product and service.
Responsibilities:
• Leading, managing and developing your assigned program and project team.
• Provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company’s goal & culture.
• Coordinating cross project activities
• Act as the point of contact for the customer and internal stakeholders in program related topics and of course for those projects, which you are handling yourself.
• Responsible for the budget of the projects within the program.
• Manage the risks and issues that might arise over the course of the program life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur.
• Develop, coordinate, execute, and maintain plan data as per contractual specification.
• Planning and leading the execution of assigned projects through all phases of the project lifecycle from start up to project closure.
• Accountable for the performance of the projects (deliverables)
• Facilitate technical solutions, including support for team members.
• Resolve projects’ higher scope issues.
• Responsible for overall internal project status /milestone reviews and reporting of same
• Responsible that the team follows on the (customer specific as well as internal) quality and security procedures.
• Support stakeholder management, of external and internal stakeholders.
• Keep the confidentiality especially related to Naval contracts.
• Ability to act as mentor for your team
Desired Skills:
• Fluent Danish & English (communicate effectively in writing and verbally)
• Bachelor of Science in a relevant specialisation, e.g. electrical, electronic or software engineering, focusing on OT systems.
• Good ERP system knowledge (SAP)
• Min 20 years of working experience in NACOS Platinum Products.
• Good Cyber security knowledge
• Very Good understanding of Platform equipment functionality (Valves, Pumps, switch gear etc.)
• Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel and live overseas.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to act as mentor and facilitator for your team
