Main responsibilities:
- Place Booking to Freight Forwarders for all shipments from China
- Monitor Vessel Space Confirmation
- Supervise the timely release of Shipping Orders to factories
- Provide Bill of Lading details to Factories and to Forwarders
- Monitor container stuffing operations at factories
- Ensure smooth documentation flow between Factories and Freight Forwarders
- Provide accurate shipping information to internal stakeholders whenever required
- Minimize Logistics costs associated to shipment arrangement
- Audit Freight Invoices
- Any other related work assigned from time to time.
Job requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in Supply Chain / Shipping
- Good knowledge of all modes of delivery, especially shipping & trucking
- Ability to troubleshoot shipping issues
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Excellent understanding of Incoterms and Customs procedures
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and be proactive in identifying logistics bottlenecks
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Spoken Mandarin preferred
