This role will be part of the operation team, making decisions that have long term (5+ years) impact in strategic plans / goals. This role is to observe and support daily operations at Manufacturing production lines, as well as to support in yield analysis & improvement and conduct meeting with manufacturing/quality for containment and corrective action to ensure line connection and yield recovery.
What you will do
- Investigate / conduct failure analysis on production and process related issues
- Establish Process Statistical monitoring on each process and action plan if process is out of control
- Ensuring compliance for Production & Process Control e.g. PFMEA / EHS risk assessment, Validation (IQ, OQ & PQ) and Work Instructions update
- Communicate, coordinate manufacturing training and work instruction implementation for process (CR)/engineering (ECO) change
- Support alternate/2nd source component qualification for engineering trial and implementation of other Strategic Projects
- Participate in cost saving project in ECM (Electronic Component Manufacturing)
What you bring
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in medical device / electronics / semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience in SMT / PCBA (Surface Mount Technology / Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing process is required
- Knowledge in Lean and /or Six Sigma methodologies and related Problem Solving Techniques (i.e. DMAIC, Fishbong Diagram, 5 why analysis, etc.) is preferred
- Knowledge of using statistical software and process simulation tools (i.e. MINITAB, JMP etc.)
- Experience in writing protocols for process validation (i.e. IQ, OQ and PQ)
- Other relevant skills including good documentation practices, attention to details, stakeholder managing ability and working with cross-functional teams
