Role Responsibilities:
1. ISO related – 9001, 14001, BizSafe- involved in supporting Internal and External Audit
2. Must be hands-on and able to inspect Mechanical parts. Able to detect welding and mechanical appearance defect
3. Must be able to use all measuring equipment especially Trimos,Profile projector, Hexagonal Arm. Others such as Height gauge, Vernior caliper, micrometer, Torque wrench, thread gauges
4. Must be able to read, and interpret all drawing symbols and welding symbols
5. Good personal communication skills with external customers and internal teams. Must be able to work with multi-culture and multi-level people. Provide technical advice and the best method for improving production work
6. Able to support Acceptance Test Plan / Process Management Plan and conduct training.
7. Able to perform FA, Incoming, In-process and Outgoing inspection to meet delivery schedule
8. Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated.
9. Ensure Maintenance record and Production in-process record is updated on-time
10. Ensure the implementation of corrective actions/preventive action as a result of weekly Source inspection by customers.
11. Must be competent in using a computer and compiling Outgoing Inspection reports to support documents in the customer portal, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
12. Must be able to work independently and as a team to achieve company objectives.
13. To arrange and monitor material for 3rd party Mechanical test / NDT if required
14. Determine a progressive improvement plan
15. Document Control - To ensure all drawings are latest and filed in a proper manner
16. Assists/performs other non-routine duties as assigned by QA Manager.
Requirements:
1. Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent AND a valid Welding Inspector Certificate (CSWIP)
2. Min. 3 years relevant experience in QA
3. Experience in Machining, Metal stamping, fabrication and related secondary processes ( such as welding, plating, and powder coating) industry will be preferred.
4. Good knowledge in auditing skill for ISO9001 and must be a Qualified Internal Auditor experience.
5. Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills i.e good skills in 5S, 8D methodology, 5-why analysis,
6. Good communication skill in both English and Mandarin is needed.
7. Able to work 5.5 days and OT when needed
