The Office of Academic Services (OAS) plays a key role in advancing the University’s educational goals through implementing and administering the academic policies established by the University’s academic body. OAS provides academic services for students from the time of their matriculation to their graduation and are committed to integrity, strong governance, and high standards of professionalism in our work to establish success for all NTU students.
Being part of a team that manages course registration, the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Manages the end-to-end planning and execution of graduate courses timetabling and enrolment at the University level.
- Manages course enrolment schedules and instructions, and safeguards the integrity and fairness of the system.
- Monitors the accurate and prompt maintenance of registration records of students.
- Manages course enrolment metrics and data generation.
- Reviews common teaching facilities allocation and manages common teaching facilities bookings.
- Assists the Assistant Director in continuously reviewing processes and policies for improvements and greater efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.
- At least 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in academic services in the tertiary education sector.
- Knowledge in PL/SQL query language would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to details.
