Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Stewarding team to uphold the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards across all food processing facilities and equipment.
- Efficiently manage workers' costs and schedule labor according to business needs, optimizing productivity.
- Enforce strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations, including emergency response plans and hazard control procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for operational excellence and safety, including inventory management and equipment requisition.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with facility teams, ensuring safe and efficient operational environments.
- Oversee pest control and sanitation efforts to maintain a clean and safe working space, conducting regular inspections for compliance.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of cleaning and sanitation equipment, educating staff on proper chemical handling and safety practices.
- Foster team engagement through regular performance reviews, career development discussions, and addressing disciplinary needs as required.
Requirements:
- Certification in sanitation management or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of stewarding experience, including 4 years in a supervisory capacity, ideally within the Food, Services, or Hospitality sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety, and security policies.
- Demonstrated ability to train staff on safe chemical usage and equipment handling.
- Computer proficiency and effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Proactive, team-oriented approach with a positive and self-motivated attitude.
