Duties & Responsibilities:

Trucks Pre-Arrival Checks:

  • Conduct thorough pre-arrival checks on trucks as per terminal procedures upon their arrival at the front gate.
    Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during the inspection process.
    Identify and report any anomalies or safety hazards promptly.

Escorting Trucks to TLF

  • Safely escort trucks from the front gate to the Truck Loading Facility (TLF) while adhering to designated safety procedures.
    Coordinate with other personnel to ensure smooth and efficient movement of trucks within the terminal premises.
    Provide guidance to drivers regarding terminal rules and regulations as necessary.

Pre-Loading Checks and Data Confirmation

  • Perform pre-loading checks on trucks, verifying essential information and documentation.
    Update truck data and confirm details with the Panel Man or relevant personnel.
    Ensure all necessary preparations are made for the loading process to proceed smoothly.

Connections Setup and Pressure Testing:

  • Set up connections between trucks and loading equipment, ensuring proper alignment and integrity.
    Conduct pressure tests on connections to verify their reliability and safety.
    Address any issues or concerns related to connections promptly and effectively.

Loading Systems Alignment

  • Configure and align loading systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) settings, to prepare for loading operations.
    Ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and calibrated according to specifications.
    Collaborate with engineering or technical teams to troubleshoot any system-related issues as needed.

Monitoring and Post-Loading Procedures

  • Monitor the loading process closely, maintaining awareness of safety protocols and procedures at all times.
    Upon completion of loading, conduct hose draining, purging, and disconnections in a safe and efficient manner.
    Perform post-loading checks to ensure that all equipment is properly secured and operational.

Documentation and Escorting Trucks Out

  • Retrieve the loading certificate from the control room or relevant authority.
    Escort trucks safely out of the terminal premises, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and safety guidelines.
    Maintain accurate records of loading activities, including any incidents or deviations from standard procedures.

Requirements:

· Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or a related field preferred

· Basic engineering knowledge on pipe layouts and instrumentations.

· Able to read, understand and execute the defined operating procedures in English

· Good in spoken and written English. Able to communicate and report defects or abnormalities.

· Preferably to have worked in a process plants/refinery/trucking in technical capacity.

· Ability to work independently

· Training provided

· $15-$18/ hour

Working hours

  • Monday to Friday: 6.00am to 7.00pm
