Our client is a Singapore headquartered Energy Firm that is looking to expand it's foot print across the region. As part of their growth plan, they are looking to hire a seasoned Energy/Oil & Gas legal counsel to help set up their internal legal function. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is entreprenuer in nature and has an interest in setting up processes/procedures for a new function.
Responsibilities
This will be an exciting opportunity for the legal counsel to come onboard to help manage the legal risk for the organization. The legal counsel will be providing advice on a wide range of commercial agreements including but not limited to spot agreements, charterparties/ shipping related and ISDA Master Agreements. You will also take an active approach in supporting the business on its strategic growth plan in the region.
Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of working experience in a commodity trading/shipping/oil & gas environment. You should ideally be called to the Singapore bar. You should also be a self-starter and independent learner.
