You will be part of a dynamic team to grow Singapore as The Leading Global Maritime Technology Hub. The Maritime Innovation Ecosystem (MIE) mission is to grow a vibrant maritime innovation and startup ecosystem.
[What you will be working on]
Key duties and responsibilities include:
a. Drive PIER71™ (Port Innovation Ecosystem Reimagined @ Block 71) ecosystem building programme and Smart Port Challenge.
b. Support Living Lab and Regulatory Sandbox initiatives.
c. Relationship and account management. Engage industry players and technology developers to curate challenges/opportunities, and technology roadmaps.
d. Grow startup, VC and corporates partnerships and networks with leading global maritime clusters and organisations.
e. Lead SWOT analysis, value chain studies, technology scan and provide recommendations on strategies and action plans.
f. Organise design thinking workshops, outreach events and communication channels.
g. Work with relevant agencies and organisations on joint innovation initiatives and outreach events.
h. Evaluate technical proposals seeking grants and other forms of support.
[What we are looking for]
Relevant training and industry experience in business administration, science and engineering, innovation and technology, sustainability, maritime, shipping and port, and/or intellectual property.
He/she should have experience working with/in technology start-ups, venture capitals or research institutions.
Be an effective communicator and presenter, competent in both spoken and written English, and able to deal with ambiguity and complexity.
Possess strong people skills, design thinking skill, and a passion for technology and innovation, meeting people and selling ideas.
