Responsible to analyse grants’/business operations’ data and perform analytical review to evaluate/review variances, anomalies, trends and new insights, and enabling business divisions to leverage statistical methods to detect variations and areas that require further investigation.

[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
- Obtain and review the consolidated data structure/s for programme/s and develop suitable analytic strategies to ensure the achievement of expected deliverables.
- Lead and conduct data analysis and data mapping, where appropriate, to identify any unusual trends, anomalies, behaviour etc.
- Conduct analytical review of the identified variances, trends, anomalies, behaviours etc.
- Conduct deep dive review into the identified trend and behaviour to further review for specific indications of non-compliances and/or potential suspected fraud.
- Develop suitable data review processes that can assist business divisions in the upstream early detection of potential issues in the grants administration and processing.
- Coordinate with relevant business divisions on referral cases of potential suspected fraud for further inquiry and investigations by IAU
- Timely management and maintenance of WSG blacklist listing
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
- Ability to review complex dataset and develop suitable data review strategies to achieve the objectives of data analysis deliverables
- Experienced in using analytical formulas and functions for MS Excel and other analytical tools, such as data visualization, as well as experience in simple data cleaning
- Experience and knowledge in conducting analytical review and/or business operation reviews is essential
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills – ability to understand beyond the numbers and its implications
- Excellent communication & presentation skills and inter-personal skills to engage relevant stakeholders
- A team player with good inter-personal skills
- Driven, meticulous and able to multi-task and work independently
- Good system and processes development acumen. Knowledge related to financial and auditing concepts, accounting principles are an added advantage.
- Ability to lead and motivate team to achieve the set outcomes; inspire and guide teams to grow and mentor them
