[What the role is]
This Senior / Technology Development Engineer will hold a critical role in advancing the technological capabilities of our organization in the field of machine automation or medical device design. This role offers a compelling opportunity to lead and contribute to the development of innovative solutions, significantly impacting our organization's technological advancements.

[What you will be working on]

- Leading and overseeing the design and development of cutting-edge machines and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and safety.

- Providing expert consultation and technical guidance in mechanical design, automation, medical compliance, and supporting various projects and initiatives.

- Analysing technology trends, conducting feasibility studies, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance machine design and automation processes.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into complete machine systems, considering aspects such as controls, electronics, and software.

- Initiating and managing project proposals for funding, grants, and sponsorships

- Leading various programs for the organization, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

[What we are looking for]

- Suitable credentials in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design or an equivalent field.

- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical design, machine automation, or related areas.

- Proficiency in utilizing software for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

- Expertise in designing mechanical systems, machine components, medical devices and automation solutions, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 13485, etc).

- Knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.

- Familiarity or experience in additive manufacturing, materials science, or 3D printing is considered a valuable advantage.
