[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
You will be part of the team to oversee finance operations through a combination of internal and outsourcing arrangement to monitor collection of debts, administer payments and capitalisation of fixed asset so as to ensure compliance with financial regulations and timeliness of billings and payment.
In this role, You will,
- Oversee administration of billings and payments to ensure timely invoicing and payment.
- Manage the administration of fixed assets which includes annual asset check exercise
- Contribute towards continuous improvement of revenue generating and financial systems, policies and processes
- Assess and provide inputs to facilitate improvements in business processes, operations and systems while taking into consideration financial implications for new initiatives/projects/programmes

In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Background in Business or Accountancy, ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in external audit would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of internal controls
- Application of Financial Reporting Standards, generally accepted principles, best practices, and financial/tax regulations related to payments, revenue and fixed assets
- Strong problem-solving skills, independent and resourceful.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance.
