Responsibilities
You will be part of a team that administers the building regulations and develops new strategies that will shape a future-ready and inclusive built environment for Singapore. You will be involved in:
Reviewing submissions on building plans including designs related to safety, environmental sustainability and barrier-free accessibility
Developing strategies, policies and processes in relation to Building Control and the advancement of Universal Design (UD) in the built environment
Promoting Accessibility Fund and conducting accessibility audits of buildings
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders in the review/development of accessibility standards and the promotion of UD through outreach activities
Requirements:
A degree in Engineering, or Building-related discipline
At least 3 years of relevant building design and project management experience
Good command of spoken and written English
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as a team player, and perform under pressure
Knowledge and experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM) an advantage
