The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager in all aspects of human resources management within the nursing home facility. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment:Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.
Participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to attract potential candidates.
- Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
Assist in resolving employee conflicts and grievances in a timely and confidential manner.
Promote a positive work culture and foster employee engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management:Support the performance appraisal process by collecting feedback, tracking performance evaluations, and assisting in performance improvement plans.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on performance management policies and procedures.
- Training and Development:Coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Identify training needs through performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Administrative Support:Assist in HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee files, processing payroll, and preparing HR reports.
Handle day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in healthcare or nursing home setting.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM-CP, IHRP-CP) is a plus.
