Job Title: Site Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: Singapore (Must possess own vehicle for site visits).
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, half-day.
Payment Range: $3,500 - $5000, depending on experience.
Job Overview:
By Design seeks a highly committed and skilled Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of projects, with a strong emphasis on upholding safety, quality, and efficiency across all job sites. The successful candidate will act as the crucial link between our interior design team, contractors, and clients, ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Daily Site Inspections: Conduct and organize comprehensive site inspections across various locations daily, ensuring adherence to safe work practices and correct job executions.
- Project Management: Oversee the preparation and management of project documentation as per the company’s specifications and job analysis. This includes developing project schedules and timelines, tracking progress against deadlines, and efficiently managing budgets.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary point of communication between the interior design team, contractors (must be fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking contractors), and clients. Ensure that all parties are informed and engaged with the project progress.
- Incident Management: Assist in the investigation of any incidents, providing sound recommendations and solutions where required.
- Ad Hoc Assignments: Execute any other tasks or assignments as directed by the Design Director, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in various capacities.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
- Construction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of interior construction methods, materials, and finishes.
- Drawing Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting interior drawings, which will be considered an added advantage.
- Project Scheduling: Ability to develop detailed project schedules and timelines, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality standards for interior finishes and the enforcement of safety standards on-site to ensure work meets or exceeds design specifications.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle for daily site visits.
- Extensive experience in interior renovation works and site supervision, with a proven track record of success.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication abilities, with proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with all stakeholders.
- No specific educational background is required, prioritizing experience and skillset.
