The primary role of the Manager, Marketing Strategy & Communications is to identify new marketing opportunities, develop innovative concepts to promote brand awareness, and to implement and communicate GAIA Culinary Group’s marketing strategies. In this role, you will create and apply effective marketing and brand strategies to achieve successful and sustainable business goals. You will represent the image of the GAIA Culinary Group and make decisions with the Company’s interest in mind, creating strong brand value.
Responsibilities
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the GAIA Culinary Group and its value proposition
- Follow the industry trends locally and regionally
- Identify organic and regional growth opportunities
- Oversee marketing, media and PR matters relating to the GAIA Culinary Group Identify and create marketing campaigns and promotional content to target market and audience Work with Operations & other relevant teams to refine and propose store communications & branding taking on a 360° approach
- Initiate and work with the sales and operations team to create brand and store sales strategies, and create marketing communications and strategies in alignment with these
- Manage partnerships, media and PR matters relating to the GAIA Culinary Group -Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to accelerate growth of the business
- Advise and assist the Executive Director in other projects and the GAIA / Culinary Group’s Indonesia matters as and when required.
- Monitor, analyze and report PR results of projects to internal and external stakeholders (where applicable)
- Ensure that marketing strategies align with overall business strategies of GAIA Culinary Group
- Work with key internal stakeholders to align communications objectives
- Drive issues management and crisis communications in the event of project status changes or adverse publicity
- Craft, send and coordinate media invites, seating allocations and RSVPs for events
- Liaise with stakeholders for approval of key artwork, press releases and other communication materials
- Develop public relations and communications plans, including strategies and goals for GAIA Culinary Group
- Craft press releases for each project involved in the launch of GAIA Culinary Group’s F&B outlets as necessary
- Manage media enquiries, interview requests, press conferences and other corporate events
Requirements
- Degree in Mass Communications or Business Management, preferably with major in Marketing
- At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience
- Prior e-commerce experience would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, time management, planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work well in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Is meticulous, well-organized, and able to work independently
