As the Head of Sales for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, you will be a key architect in steering our sales strategy, ensuring growth, and optimizing profitability. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and set the direction for the Regional Sales Team, aligning with budget objectives, emphasizing volume delivery, revenue growth, and gross profit optimization.
- Coach and drive the sales team to effectively sell and grow LSPP activities, encompassing supply chain, 4PL, and local products.
- Collaborate with the Regional Head and the Global Head of Sales to define and set targets for sales incentives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Actively monitor local customer satisfaction scores, including NPS, across various customer segments.
- Drive regional improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction scores.
- Manage stakeholders across country, regional, and global functions, fostering positive relationships.
- Lead change initiatives in accordance with the overall company strategy.
- Facilitate best practice sharing across teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Actively provide input to product teams on product value propositions, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
- Contribute to business planning at headquarters on behalf of the APAC region.
- Build, develop, and grow an effective and engaged sales team, overseeing a span of control between 4 to 10 people of direct reports and functional reports.:Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles, including your own, to ensure business continuity.
- Manage regional engagement, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least a 15 years of experience in the relevant industry
- Proven leadership experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Expertise in LSPP activities, supply chain, and local product offerings.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and optimizing profitability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead change initiatives.
