Job Description:
1. Manage the full spectrum of patent and design work, including prior art searches, pre-filing advice, and patent specification drafting.
2. Manage and oversee the filing with IPOS and other ASEAN countries' patent offices, prosecution, grant, and maintenance of patents.
2. Manage a team of patent executives - assert quality control, provide training and mentorship.
3. Set policies, precedents, and best practice guidelines.
4. Liaise with regional offices and international agents on patent prosecution matters.
5. Participate in business development efforts at raising awareness, client relationship building.
Requirements:
• Should have a degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• Must be a registered patent agent in Singapore or have at least 15 years of experience in ASEAN patent filing and prosecution work.
• Should have proven leadership experience in managing and developing a team.
• Must demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to contribute to the strategic growth of the firm.
• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
