Jobs Responsibilites
Timely investment recommendations and articulate investment thesis, risks and payoff for each recommendation to the portfolio managers and investment committee, mainly Hong Kong and US market.
Provide frequent and timely research insights to Portfolio Managers/CEOs and prioritize follow-up on their inquiries as there are new company, macroeconomic, geopolitical developments
Produces detailed analysis reports for each stock or fixed income covered and regularly uploads their recommendations to Bloomberg for internal use
Analysis corporate financial reports to determine the market performance of existing securities and create financial forecasts.
Provide weekly analysis summaries for high-conviction stock for all sectors
Monitor changes in industry and market for investment opportunities, providing direction and expert advice on buying, selling or holding stocks.
Job Requirements:
Degree in business/economics, finance or accounting or related professional qualification, with relevant years of experience from financial/ investment/assets management industry
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, investment management, risk management involving Hong Kong and US markets is required
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, Bloomberg and other financial market databases
Familar with MAS rules and regulation
Support finance and accounts when needed
Strong communication skills (oral and written) in Mandarin and English (to liaise with Chinese-speaking boss)
