Assistant Contracts Manager (Dip/5yrexp/East)

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Contract Manager in reviewing, negotiating, and administering construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.

· Ensure that all contractual requirements are clearly understood and implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files, records, and documentation in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.

· Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.

· Support the resolution of contract disputes, claims, and change orders, working collaboratively with legal and project management teams as needed.

· Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

· Prepare and distribute project correspondence, meeting minutes, and other contractual communications.

· Participate in project meetings, providing updates on contract status, issues, and risks.

· Serve as a liaison between the Contract Manager, project management team, and other stakeholders to ensure that all contractual matters are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

· Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.

· Support project managers in tracking project progress, budgets, and schedules.

· Provide administrative support to the project management team as needed, including organizing project documentation, maintaining project files, and tracking project-related activities.

· Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

· Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all contract administration activities to minimize risks and ensure contract compliance.

· Support quality assurance efforts by monitoring project deliverables and performance against contractual requirements and project specifications.



Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma or Degree equivalent in Engineering

· At least 5 years of civil construction experience

· Posses interpersonal skills and people management skills

· Good communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera and AutoCad
