Job Responsibilities
- Participate in project development, front ends, feasibility studies of projects to ensure both its technical & commercial viability
- Conduct relevant researches to ascertain risks and potentials
- Drafts functional requirements and ensure that all client’s technical requirements are incorporated
- Prepare the central filing and project document control for the project
- Coordinate, review and clarify and final conclusion with the project team, of the functional requirements and design basis for project
- Execute project engineering functions in major and alliance projects
- Identify, discern and recognize possible technical hiccups and problems arise and see to its rectification
- Participate, support and facilitate material and cost estimation for project cost estimates and economics
- Prepare method statement, risk assessment and lifting plan
- To raise Purchase Requisition for materials, equipments and consumables
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Apply daily permit to work
- Carry out daily gas test for confine space entry
- To perform other duties as requested by PM/CM
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Perfer 3 years of relevant working experience in Process Industry. Those without relevant experience is welcome to apply
- Willing to work 5.5 days work week and at the project site
- Able to develop and evaluate scheduling of a project, particularly in creating S-Curve
- Has good computer skills, experience and excellent knowledge in operating PC based applications, in particular MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project & P6
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawing (P&ID, PEFS, ISO). Has experience in making a mechanical drawing using AUTOCAD or equivalent is preferable
- Able to work under demanding condition during project and as a team and individual independently
- Able to work in confine space environment
