The Senior Marketing Manager is directly responsible for leading, developing and executing the Marketing plans for the priority Brands across Digestive and Pain Management & Recovery to accelerate growth. Your main responsibilities will be developing the strategy and core marketing programmes that deliver double digit growth, increase awareness and support customers needs for the key markets in APAC.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Lead development of the strategic and tactical plans for priority Brands to deliver short- to long-term goals.
· Work closely with the Country Leader, APAC Marketing Team and Global Marketing team to formulate business strategies and work with distributors and direct sales team to implement strategies and action plans for their territories.
· Collaborate with country sales efforts to identify key business development opportunities in Brazil.
· Ensure strong collaboration across key functional areas
· Lead customer insights to identify areas for improvement and make adjustments to existing devices/propose new developments
· Lead portfolio projects management
· Partner with Global Strategic Marketing partners to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns (advertising, promotion materials) that satisfies the customers needs for the key markets in APAC. Analyze data to determine the effectiveness of campaigns and marketing strategies.
· Manage direct marketing, tools, training resources for education programs, product launches, and other marketing and education related programs
· Establish and manage sales forecasts
· Develop and manage clinical knowledge and links with leading physicians and key opinion leaders
· Develop and execute plan for working with Professional Organisations
· Talent management for the APAC marketing team
· Supports the organization to ensure an adequate and effective quality management system
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Business/Engineering/Medical subjects. MBA is a plus
· Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated success in a marketing role in the Medical Device industry is required
· Broad-based knowledge in business management, marketing, business planning and extensive experience in healthcare/medical device
· Marketing and Selling processes, planning and decision making, product management, product launch or product improvement experience and execution of a marketing plan for a major product category
· Strong working knowledge of marketing principles, the selling process, and financials (P&L)
· Demonstrated examples of integrity, initiative, organizational sensitivity and collaboration
· Prior experience or exposure to the priority brands (Digestive, Pain Management) category is preferred
· Knowledge of customers, market and competitors, medical reimbursement and/or other government funding processes in APAC is a plus
· Ability to apply wide-ranging knowledge and experience of own job area within business unit or function.
· Advanced knowledge and practical experience of specific technical areas applied within the context of a similar industry or type of organization preferred
· Competent in both written and spoken Portuguese. Good communication proficiency in English and Spanish (both verbal and writing) preferred
