About the role

The Associate Director, Research & Analysis (R&A) is critical to making this happen and will be a team lead role within the R&A team. R&A is the interface between Business and Risk with the aim to achieve a stronger focus on customer, risk management & process efficiency. The role holder will manage a portfolio of Institutional clients in SEA region, be responsible to provide credit support to the Relationship team, as well as provide leadership and guidance to junior team members both through formal and informal reporting lines.

The Associate Director will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:

  • Prepare quality credit papers and seek timely approval
  • Provide effective, timely and ongoing customer, industry and portfolio monitoring
  • Uphold the well-managed agenda
  • Provide people leadership support to the team
  • Act as primary interface between Business and Risk

What will you bring?

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
  • Good financial modelling skills.
  • Extensive years of relevant experience in credit analysis in the institutional and large corporates space
  • Good knowledge in banking products and structures, loans, trade finance and global markets
  • Excellent written, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to details and accuracy
  • Strong people leadership skills with a growth mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills with ability to drive outcomes with different stakeholders
