Salling Search is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Chartering Manager for a shipping company to be based in Singapore. This position will report directly to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial operations of the dry bulk fleet, including the negotiation of charter parties and the fixing of cargoes.
- Buy and sell freight to clients within the regions and achieve set targets.
- Ensure the timely and efficient execution of all charter party agreements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ship owners, brokers, and customers.
- Monitor market conditions and trends to ensure competitive rates and profitable operations.
- Provide market insights and intelligence to senior management.
- Develop and maintain an effective risk management strategy for the dry bulk fleet.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in maritime studies, business management, international trade, foreign trade, engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Supramax size vessels is preferred, other sizes can be considered.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience from a ship-owning background is preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
