Department: Materials Procurement
- Location: CBD Area
- Working hours: Mon to Friday, 8.30am to 5.15pm
- Salary Range: $2900 to $4500 with completion bonus
- Employment: 1 year direct contract (Convertible/renewable)
- Working arrangement: work in office (100%)
Responsibilities:
- Source raw materials, machinery, and supplies for production, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Evaluate requisitions, especially for engineering changes, to minimize excess inventory.
- Maintain supplier databases and negotiate contracts for favorable deals.
- Approve bills for payment and ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
- Qualify vendors and monitor their performance for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Marine Engineering with minimum 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of MRP/QAD/SAP systems is advantageous.
