Job Description
Job Summary:
The role will be part of the Clean Factory Automation engineering team primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our cleanroom automated material handling systems (AMHS). The role will report to the project site for most of their working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and calibrate our AMHS equipment in the initial phase of a project
- Carry out regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance after the project’s initial phase
- Perform troubleshooting and recovery tasks to minimize the downtime of our AMHS
- Liaise with customers to arrange schedules for jobs and update customers on work progress
- Supervise work done by sub-contractors for installation and mechanical modifications
Requirements:
- Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering related field.
- At least 2 years of good experience in mechanical / electrical engineering intensive roles..
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
- A good team player with a positive work attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to grasp current work situation and plan to keep pace with the schedule.
- Experience in cleanrooms or AMHS equipment is a huge plus.
