We are seeking a full time Junior Veterinary Assistant to join our team of 4 vets and 10 support staff. Your enthusiasm and dedication will be integral in providing a top notch client experience focused on communication and animal care.
Prior exprience in animal care and handling is benefical but not compulsory.You will be trained in animal handling, as well as in inserting IV catheters, taking bloods, setting up fluids, radiograph and ultrasound positioning, surgical, ward patient care, medication dispensing and client management .
Your position will encompass a 5 day work week, inclusive of 1:2 Saturdays, or 44hrs per week ( which includes break times ). We are not open on Sundays or Public Holidays.
We have a lovely clientele and see an interesting and varied caseload. Equipment include digital x ray, ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, IM3 dental machine, dental x rays and tonopen. We see dogs and cats, and conduct acupuncture as an adjunct to supportive pain management.
We are located within walking distance to Tiong Bahru MRT.
We are looking for someone interested in embarking in an animal care career, and will be able to commit to a minimum of 1 year.
