Job Description:
- To co-design, plan, facilitate, monitor and evaluate programmes/services for suitable residents to support and address their needs i.e. career mentoring, independent living skills.
- To work as a team to provide academic support for residents in the Children’s Home, ranging from 7 to 21 years old by implementing individualised educational plan for assigned residents and monitor progress. Review effectiveness of academic help for individual residents supported by the team
- To oversee the scheduling and organization of volunteer-directed programmes in the Home to ensure a balanced representation of the different types of activities.
- To support in volunteer management, coordination, including recruitment, training, supervision, programme planning, deployment, rewards, retention, and recognition.
- To report on the related outcomes/KPI of the residents at various accountability platforms i.e. Individualised Care Plan Meetings, Standing Committee meetings, Admissions, Progress and Discharge Workgroups
- Any other ad-hoc task as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work/Counselling/Psychology or in a related discipline or Post graduate Diploma in Social Work
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with children or young persons, programme development or groupwork.
