Position : Sleep Technologist (Nurse)
Working Location : Biopolis
Working hours: locum (night shift)
Salary: 31 - 36 per hour
• Perform sleep monitoring according with protocol requirements.
• Monitor trial participants during the sleep monitoring sessions.
• Follow procedural protocols to ensure collection of appropriate data, establish/document baseline values and to verify integrity of collected data and complete the data collection processes.
• Perform appropriate physiological calibration to ensure proper signals and make required adjustments.
• Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure and other significant events in order to facility scoring and interpretation of polysomnography results.
• Score sleep/wake stages by applying professionally accepted guidelines.
• Score clinical events (such as respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movement, arousals, etc.) using industry standards.
• Generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to use polysomnographic equipment.
• Perform routine equipment care, maintenance and cleaning of of polysomnographic equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)
