Wood has an opportunity for an LNG Tank Engineer who has previous working experience in an Integrated Project Management team / PMC role for LNG projects.
Responsibilities
- Execute work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards as a part of Integrated Project Management team to meet the quality, schedule, cost, and safety requirements.
- Review of various technical documents to ensure it meets project requirements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders on all technical issues to arrive at appropriate resolution.
- Correspond with the various stakeholders on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary.
- Design knowledge of LNG storage tanks (9% Ni full containment type, Membrane full containment type, etc) meeting various codes like EN 14620, EN 1473, API 620, NFPA 59A, etc
- Design knowledge of LNG Tank foundation design, LNG tank internal suspended deck roof, LNG tank Insulation system, LNG tank seismic design.
- Value engineering and design optimization leading to savings in CAPEX.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university with minimum 15 years of experience in various LNG Tank projects.
- Experience as an LNG Tank Engineer during FEED, EPC or PMC role for LNG projects.
- Well versed in Design requirements specific to Singapore local regulation and Authority Approvals
- Well versed with international codes & standards
- Possess good interpersonal skill with sound written & oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated, well organized, and proactive.
- A team player and able to work under pressure without supervision
