Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions infacility management and the built environment.
• Mentor students, fostering academic and professional growth through participation in competitions, projects, and industry placements.
• Design and oversee industry-relevant projects and consultancy work, providing hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges.
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance and facilitate student internships and placements.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, incorporating them into teaching and curriculum development.
• Contribute to academic administration, including curriculum design, assessment development, and student advisement.
• Participate in outreach activities, such as students recruitment events, industry forums, and professional development workshops.
What we are looking for
1. Trained in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrate significant industry experience in facility management, construction management, or related fields.
3. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and inspiring students.
4. Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
5. Showcase a commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about industry developments.
6. Possess relevant professional certifications or memberships (e.g., CFM,SIFMA, WSHO, Senior FSM), advantageous.
