Role:
We are searching for an experienced and energetic nutritionist to join our team. In this position, you will provide our clients with professional advice on how to implement and maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a specialist in food and nutrition, our clients will depend on you to guide them towards better eating and healthier food choices. You will also assist the food technologist in the creation of healthier food products and RTE meals.
Your duties will include evaluating clients’ needs, planning meal plans, developing goals, and providing advice on how to stay healthy. To succeed in this role, you will need to stay updated on the latest nutritional diets, research methods, and industry trends. In addition to being an excellent communicator, the ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will provide nutritional, food application, and formulation support for health-related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting with clients and identifying their dietary needs by assessing their health, exercise routine, and food habits.
- Developing and helping implement personalized nutrition plans for clients.
- Simplifying important information for clients and explaining the benefits of staying on a healthy diet.
- Ensuring that you stay updated on the latest nutritional diets and trends.
- Coordinate and manage hospitals, health promotion-related projects
- Assist in the development of healthier food products and meals for clients.
- Working with product development, design, and various business stakeholders to deliver nutrition and behavioural change initiatives.
- Plan, develop and direct diet formulation, educational and materials, healthy meals for the company’s clients
- Assist in expanding and maintaining the Company’s client base and business in providing nutrition and health-related programs/services
- Undertake any other duties that the Company’s Management may deem necessary or appropriate to your role as a Nutritionist
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in nutritional science, dietetics, food science, or related discipline
- 3 year’s relevant working experience in the nutrition, health, and food industry
- Possesses technical knowledge and skills through nutrition consultancy services and nutrition education and training programs.
- Knowledge in Food Science and Technology, food formulation, research, and development application would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Meticulous, a critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter attitude, a strong sense of ownership.
