With their continual growth across the region, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join them as a Finance Controller with regional coverage.
about the job
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be the key finance lead to manage the full spectrum of finance controllership activities whilst being supported by teams across Singapore, Malaysia and China. You will provide meaningful insights on business performance and advise on ways to improve profitability whilst reducing cost. You will drive effective treasury strategies to optimise cash flow, minimise FX exposure and maintain strong banking relationships. You take interest in understanding the operations so as to drive best practices in ensuring a robust finance framework and digitalise processes to improve efficiencies. You will also look to identify a suitable ERP system and lead the implementation process.
skills and experience required
You should ideally be Degree qualified or equivalent with at least 12 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably in a small-medium sized set up. Strong mandarin proficiency will be required given their business in China where documentations are in mandarin alongside stakeholders who can only converse in Mandarin. You are hands on and steadfast in influencing positive changes within the business. You are comfortable working in the West and travel occasionally for work.
