We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. The SQA Engineer will be responsible for supporting the SQA efforts and ensuring the quality of our software products. They will work closely with the development scrum team and other stakeholders and participate in feature definition, requirement verification, and testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies and processes for software products
- Collaborate with the product and development team to contribute to the release management strategy, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of high-quality software products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases, develop test plans, and execute test cases
- Create and maintain testing documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Identify, track, and manage defects and issues through their lifecycle
- Work with the development team to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
- Support investigation of reported field issues to identify root cause
- Provide feedback to the development team on design and functionality to ensure high-quality products
- Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve system defects
- Document and communicate test results, and track software bugs and their resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in writing test scripts using Gherkin and Cucumber for functional, integration, and regression testing
- Experience with API, web application and mobile application testing
- Experience with creating MongoDB queries
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and JMeter
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
