CLW Media is a podcast consultancy with a difference. Using a strategic approach, we work with clients to develop their bespoke content, and ensure it reaches the right audience. We work with our clients in many different way; consultancy, strategy and content development, production, promotion, guest placement and advertising. The scope of your role will include all areas of what CLW Media offers, as well as supporting the founder in building the business. Each day will be different, offering new experiences for development and growth.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative intern to provide support in various areas, including audio editing, website building (utilising Square Space under the guidance of the Founder), social media management, research and administration.
This part-time internship requires a commitment of 2.5 days a week and spans an initial period of 3 months with compensation provided. Throughout this duration, you will work closely with the company's Founder and her clients, gaining insights into consultancy operations and acquiring hands-on experience in dealing with diverse external clients on various projects.
Responsibilities:
· Audio editing of podcast episodes
· Recording podcast audio
· Project administration for diverse clients
· Social media and web design, including describing strategy, research, and content development.
· Research and strategy development
· Presentation and proposal design
· Proofreading and content writing
Software and platforms you will learn to use under guidance:
· Audacity (or your preferred editing software if applicable
· Canva
· Square Space
Qualifications:
· Pursuing a bachelor's degree in radio/broadcast journalism, media, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field
· Adept at audio editing
· Creative with a keen eye for design
· Strong interest in podcasts, audio and marketing
· Quick learner with the ability to work autonomously
· Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail
· Able to commit for 3 months, starting March 2024
