PeopleSoft Migration Lead Consultant (HCM & LMS Specialization)

Role : 12 months contract .


This role encompasses a highly specialized skill set tailored for individuals with extensive experience in leading complex PeopleSoft migration projects to Azure cloud environments. The job specifications include:

  • Leading the definition of project scope, project management/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach, milestones, tasks, deliverables, and resource requirements for PeopleSoft migration projects.
  • Effectively negotiating project resource needs and competing priorities with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrating exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in managing executive business stakeholders, technical staff, application users, and third-party vendors.
  • Collaborating with project team members, subcontractors, and business stakeholders in diverse team environments, demonstrating the ability to build consensus amongst project team members and key stakeholders.
  • Leading the migration activities of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and LMS 9.2 applications from on-premise to Azure cloud.
  • Leading the migration activities of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and LMS 9.2 SQL Server databases from on-premise to Azure cloud.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting issues related to IIS and Telerik.
  • Enhancing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and LMS 9.2 systems.
  • Evaluating user requirements, proposing solutions, and assisting users in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Taking responsibility for developing new functionalities or enhancing existing functionalities.
  • Tracking and fixing reported problems/bugs.

Skill Sets:

  • Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience working with PeopleSoft applications, with a strong emphasis on project leadership and migration expertise.
  • Expertise in SQL, PeopleCode, Application Engine, BI Publisher, SQL Server, IIS 10, WebLogic 12, Telerik, and .Net MVC.
  • Extensive experience in PeopleTools upgrading from version 8.56 to 8.60.
  • Proven track record in data migration from on-premise to Azure cloud environments.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in GCC Azure environments.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, independent work capabilities, and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

  • Hands-on experience in installing and setting up PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and LMS 9.2 applications in Azure cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in migrating PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and LMS 9.2 applications from on-premise to Azure cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in migrating PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and LMS 9.2 SQL Server databases from on-premise to Azure cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in IIS 10, WebLogic 12, Telerik, and .Net MVC in the context of PeopleSoft migrations.
