New Life Community Services is a social service agency in Singapore. We are passionate about servicing the community and mentoring the next generation. We currently operate three childcare centres, three youth hubs, and three student care centres as well as conduct programs for children, youths, and seniors.
The Associate Researcher plays a key role in supporting the mission of New Life Community Services by conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to evidence-based practices. The incumbent will work closely with the research team to collect, interpret, and disseminate information relevant to the agency’s programs and services.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and research to identify evidence-based practices relevant to our service areas.
- Analyze current services and identify areas for improvement based on evidence and data.
- Design and implement evaluation frameworks for existing programs to assess effectiveness and impact.
- Collaborate with services to co-design new program models or enhancements to existing ones based on evidence-based insights and research findings.
- Prepare and present reports to management and stakeholders, with findings and recommendations.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on evidence-based practices and data-informed decision-making.
- Source for and develop resources and tools to support staff in implementing research-informed approaches.
- Stay updated with the latest research and trends in social services and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts / Social Work or equivalent in any discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience and strong knowledge in social sciences and research methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent team player, and able to work independently.
