As a Database System Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, creating, manipulating, and organizing database systems. Including database performance optimization and performance tuning and reindexing.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the company's database construction, migration, upgrade, maintenance: (80%)
- Implement change requests related to development in database such as table design, triggers, and stored procedures
- Provide solution for SQL query tuning
- Backup and restore the database, monitor and optimize the performance of the database;
- Set up database clusters, backup, or recovery processes.
- Analyse Database tables access traffic and optimize the design.
- Ensure database integrity with proper and accurate data base synchronization.
- Responsible for data security and personal data protection.
- Document and communicate database schemas, using accepted notations.
- Compute database sizing for storage.
- Create and enforce database development standards.
Design and develop efficient techniques for fast, optimized data access and transfer of distributed or networked database systems (20%)
- Designing databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance and reliability.
- Designing database for High Availability and Disaster Recovery sites.
Job Requirements
