Our esteemed client, a globally recognized MNC, is searching for a Service Technician:
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to daily customer inquiries on technical problems and provide prompt responses and solutions such that equipment downtime is minimized for maximum user satisfaction
- Report to Assistant Sales Manager to oversee and report operational issues both on local customers and regional distributors
- Support local sales team by providing technical specifications and information on products and checking compliance with customer solution requirements
- Assist sales and marketing team to conduct equipment demonstration at customer site when necessary
- Submit timely and detailed service reports in line with department SOP to keep management up to date on issues
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of machines to ensure the smooth workflow of machine service both indoor and outdoor
- Liaise to the factory for machine malfunction and troubleshooting
- Work closely with supply chain team to complete machine parts orders and answer all customer/inter-company correspondence and inquiries
- Provide on-site technical support and carry out quality inspections when necessary
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by line manager.
Job Requirements:
- Professional Certificate / Higher Nitec in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Possess 1 year experience in similar position on maintenance/service of machinery
- Good working attitude and good team player
- Excellent skills in communication and collaboration
- Possess good customer service attitude
- Meticulous and have an eye for details
- Ability to work within tight timelines
