Job Scope:
- Assist HOD in all aspects relating to the accounting functions to facilitate the closing of the full set of accounts
- Lead and supervise team members and work well with management in meeting targets
- Perform daily accounting function including AP, AR, GL and Bank Reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules
- Perform payment forecast and monitor cashflow
- Analysis of accounts
- Develop & implement process improvements
- Liaising with Auditors
- Any other assignment as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Minimum of Degree in accounting or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in freight forwarding industry
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work independently with high level of initiative and resourcefulness
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, meticulous and committed individual who can work with little supervision under tight deadlines
- Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
