Key Responsibilities:
- Provision storage resources, configure storage connectivity, and allocate storage to specific servers and applications.
- Manage incidents and problems related to storage infrastructure, including reporting, analysis, and implementation of changes.
- Conduct performance checks, analyze logs, and optimize storage systems for optimal performance and reliability.
- Assist with patch upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure the security and stability of storage infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with x86 servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments.
- Document operational procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Support disaster recovery initiatives and ensure data protection strategies are in place for business continuity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in storage engineering or a related role.
- Strong understanding of x86 server technologies, SAN/NAS storage systems, virtualization (VMWare), and cloud computing.
- Knowledge of OpenStack architecture, Oracle or DB databases, and data protection strategies.
- Certification in Huawei HCIA/HCIP or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with provisioning storage, managing incidents and problems, and conducting performance checks.
- Proficiency in analyzing logs, implementing changes, and assisting with patch upgrades.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
