Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Dr. Xinwei Li on computational and experimental optics under a project focusing on laser control of charge density wave systems.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
1. Numerical modeling of charge density wave systems and semi-quantitatively estimate the effect of laser excitation.
2. Construct optical instruments to search for signatures of laser control of charge density wave materials.
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline: B.Sc. in Physics or related areas
• Skills:
(1) Numerical skills for simulating charge density wave materials
(2) Experimental techniques of working with optical setups and lasers
• Experience: Prior working experience as a research assistant would be a plus
